confusion

Yesterday on the way home from picking up Sam, I saw this.
Now, to me, this is very strange. Especially in MI. Some other places, it may not seem so out of the oridnary, but for here, I thought it was....
And they were walking on the biking trail where many a dogs are walked daily.
I'm not exactly sure of what to think.
First thoughts that ran through my head were laziness, sadness for the dog b/c it was not getting any exercise, and it kinda looked funny. A person wearing a dog...
I noticed I was not the only one gawking at these people standing along side the road ready to jay walk across a busy street.
But again, this is just me....

He doesn't get to poo. He has to hold it.

You should see all the doggie carry cases, clothes, umbrellas, etc that they have at Target now. It's unreal!

umbrellas? for a dog?? oh the life of a dog. to be carried around. dressed. kept dry. cleaned up after. ok...maybe not the most glamorous life, but sounds easy...

You're definitely not alone in thinking that's ridiculous. Poor dog. He's left no shred of dignitiy at all! :P

THanks for the laugh!

I've actually seen dog strollers. DOG
STROLLERS. Anyway, our friends had a front pack carrier for their puppy because they went on a 20 mile hike and there would be no way the 10 week old puppy would make it. But for any other reason than that is purely ridiculous...except maybe an elderly dog...who needs fresh air.

I remember seeing that a lot in metropolitan cities in Europe.

I guess I won't get one for my friend to put in her St. Bernard huh? ha ha ha. Duh, she's probably need the backpack version ;-)
