Sour Milk. Again.

The last thing I expected to see this morning when walking in the door was my 2 year old daughter standing in the middle of the living room with white projectile shooting out of her mouth. And it just didn't stop. Poor little thing! This is her first experience of throwing up. And it being all milk to boot! Glad there's more Vernors in the fridge and just enough Lysol left in the can (which is a lot better smelling than the skunk who decided to infiltrate our nostrils at 2 a.m. this morning and can still be smelled throughout the house).

It's been full of interesting fragrances. :)

Oh wow, poor kids and the mommy who has to take care of them. One right after another. I wonder is it better to have them both sick at the same time or in turns? I hope she's on the mend soon.

What a way to start the day! Hope it got better from there!

It always seems to happen back to back. One gets sick, the other gets it a week later. She is doing fine except for all her crying because she's starving hungry. So far the toast and Vernor's have stayed down, so I think she's on the up and up. On sick days, the tv stays on longer, so that's a real treat for them today...

The day is getting better. Thanks Amelia! :)

These are the weeks we need our moms the most and they're too far away to help. Maybe we can start a hire-a-mom or hire-a-grandma ministry so us frazzled mommies can get some much-needed help. At least we have MOPS once every two weeks coming up. Even if I have to carve holiday figurines out of a bar of soap on "craft day", I will enjoy the presence of adults and the absence of children.

Hire a grandma sounds great to me. So does time every other week to sculpt bars of soap. I am looking forward to meeting other moms and have a conversation longer than 2 seconds. :)
