The big 6 in 07

Another year has flown swiftly by in Sam's life. Hard to believe a year ago he was in preschool. Now he's learning to read, sound out words, write sentences, add, subtract, and trying to bravely learn to ride his bike without training wheels. He still loves any sport, wrestling, riding bikes with dad, but has added I Spy, being in charge of making mac and cheese, computer games from the library, space, ocean life, and checking the weather every day to his list of favorites.

So to go with his favorites, he wanted a basketball cake, received his very own biking gloves, an apron and an I spy book. Along with a gift certificate for painting his room (in which he chose blue, white and orange: Denver Bronco colors), NFL blanket and sheets with all the teams helmets on it to go on his new bed.

It was a very happy birthday and he had a huge blast!! Playing with his favorite tall
friend, trying out his biking gloves and breaking in the new apron as he made his favorite breakfast the next day. Scrambled eggs. The breakfast of 6 year old champions!

Hi Jean, I really like your house. I'd love to see more pictures!

Um, and your address, and social security number, and your shoe size.

Heh heh heh. I just thought that "I'd love to see pictures of your home" sounded kind of stalker-like after I wrote it.

Way too fast if you ask me....

Can't take the praise for the apron..., but I know it was made with LOTS of love. :)

Hi Sarah. :) If you go to my archives, I believe it's the first month I started the blog, there are pics of our living room and dining room? Will have pics of Sam's room soon as it's all torn apart and being painted.. Shoe size is 7 1/2 slim. Address and ss #, well...ummm....no. :)

Hi C!! Thanks. :) It has flown hasn't it?
