Blah

I'm procrastinating. I don't want to clean. I need to leave in 40 minutes to go pick up my hubby and I need to clean. As you can see, it has not happened yet since I'm sitting here typing to all of you out there about how much I don't want to clean. Why is it so HARD? I'd rather weed the garden (which I did b/c I didn't want to clean!). I know I need to take care of my house that I have been blessed with. I know once I start I'll be absolutely fine and will enjoy it. Sam came down from his room and found me on the couch eating my lunch and asked why I wasn't cleaning. Blah. So here I go. I go to clean. I'm going now. Here I go. My legs aren't listening to me. Ah well. Annnndddddddd go. :)

Ready. Set. Clean! :)

I'm really not much of an encourager to clean. I'll just tell ya to put yer feet up and take'er easy. Go on. Ahhh. Now doesn't that feel better? Good.

HEY! What are you doing on your lazy arse? Come on, lady! Get that house clean! Move it, move it! Let's go! Pick up that spray bottle! Tidy that counter! Get a move on!

Arg! It's been "I hate cleaning days" for a lot of us lately, I think. Anne, weren't you just posting about that a few days ago? I've had an entire long weekend to do some long needed tasks. I got one thing done. O-N-E. Blah.

I think I'm going to go look at my nice clean floor and tell myself what a great housekeeper I am. I can ignore the rest of the rooms in the house, it's all good.....

*sigh*

I can't help you much on this one, Jean - my house is currently in need of some desperate cleaning, too. But my yard looks great. :)

How about thinking how great you'll feel when you're done?!

Ohmygosh. I have those moments as well. Okay, they aren't "moments" they are long drawn out episodes that last for days.

Hillary: You have one less thing to clean now than you did before. Good job! :)

Heather: Thanks for the sympathy. I did end up enjoying seeing the house clean after I was all done. So well worth it. Just getting to that point is the hardest!

Kassi: yes. yes. I do that too. To the point where it's really bad and there's no clean underwear or dishes. :)

Ah, heck, just turn the underwear inside out. See? All better!

And I can't even tell you how much cleaning I got done last night. Ok, I can tell you. TONS! Honest! Several hours worth of laundry and stuff.

Not so much cleaning really, as hard-core tidying. I had to get everything picked up as the cleaning lady is coming by today to do the 'real' cleaning that I just don't have time to do.

Last time though, I promise. Ok, I don't promise. That would just be silly.

I haven't gotten that desperate, but I have put different types of socks on the kids. :)

GOOD JOB!!!! You're going to have fun tonight! And your house will be SOOOO clean after your cleaning lady is done with it.

It better be your last time. ok...I'll give you a few more. At least until you have kids :)

anne said...

Sheesh. I think I'll need one more after I have kids. I don't know how you do it. I just don't know.

that is why they are wearing mis-matched socks. because I don't do it as much as I should. :)

No, see just say you're teaching them their colors:

Honey what color is that foot? "Blue" Very good. What color is the other foot? "Orange" Good!

Or their left from their right:

Honey what color is your right foot? "Purple" Nope, that's your left. Try again!

Hi Jean! I found you - lol. Sometimes I just pray for a wrecking ball to fall on my house. The whole cleaning thing is way too overwhelming .. ugh & ugh. Anyway, it was nice visiting with you for a bit! Take care!
