Today I realized that I am more than likely going to be grocery shopping for 3 kids (no...I'm not pregnant). There were 8 of us at the dinner table tonight. Three parents, us 4 and the little neighbor girl. I think she's going to be over a lot (she's been over a lot so far). I think she's going to be one that we are going to fall in love with. She's going to be going through a lot as her mom starts radiation for breast cancer in a week. I have no clue what her home life is like, but I do know it's different than ours. She still looks at us strange when we pray before a meal. I hope she feels comfortable in our house and enjoys hanging out there. I hope I can let my bubble pop and be stretched outside of my comfort zone. I prayed to live exactly where God wanted us to be. I think there is going to be a lot of growing in this house for all four of us. There already has been.

Jean, it looks like God has you right where he wants you to be a light for the families around you (heaven knows they're already comfortable telling you everything!).

Feed the neighbour girl, but not her little dog! hehe!

Unless it's a cute little dog! :) I'm so excited for the growth you get to go through. God is going to have fun using your family in your neighbor's lives.

Yay Jeff Manion and his hospitality series! Now you know you have philoxenoi. How'd the job interview go? Did the house get an offer?

It is a kind of cute little dog. Zoe is her name and she just comes on over to visit. It's quite fun.

The neighbors mom came over and we were able to chat about her cancer and offering to help her out. It's going to be an amazing adventure.

No offers have come through yet and I have another interview tomorrow for a different job (at the jr. high this time).

wow...He sent you across the country to be there for a little girl who needs comfort and security. I would definitely say you are where you are suppose to be in so many ways.
