This past Sunday we celebrated our little princess' 2nd birthday. I made a doll cake, pulled pork sandwiches and had family come over to celebrate the birth of our daughter two years ago. Crazy how time flies. Some presents she got were a dolly (whom shy deems

as "baby" and goes no where without it), a little pink tricycle and a cute princess university outfit. Oh and a sleeping bag for camping this summer. It was a very busy day as Ed and I were on for praise team in the morning, came home, got everything around, everyone came to eat, open presents, eat cake, left, put the kids down for a 45 minute nap and then headed back to church. I'm looking forward to this weekend where we are doing absolutely nothing except go to Krispy Kreme for fattening doughnuts tomorrow morning.

Oh man...what a sweet party! :) Your cake is adorable! I wish we could have stayed!!
ReplyDeleteMe too :(
ReplyDeleteYou'll just have to come over soon for pulled pork sandwiches and I'll be more than happy to make another cake. I need to work on my decorating skills.
My little one will be turning 2 at the end of the month. I like your doll cake. I gotta come up with something too :)
ReplyDeleteShe looks cute and happy.
It was really easy. I did it in a stoneware bundt pan in the microwave and the bent the poor dolls legs in half so she'd fit in the hole in the middle. :)
ReplyDeleteI love making pulled pork sandwiches...and I love cake...we like to camp...and my youngest is a princess as well. I think we must be one of those "through the looking glass" families. :) Happy Birthday to your little princess! Very cute photos!
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing like walking in the door and smelling yummy dinner :) You know...we don't live extremely far from each other...summers coming..may need to do a road trip to keep sanity with kids... :)
